The nine grahas.
In Jyotish a graha is a “seizer”: a force that takes hold of the mind. Seven are bodies you can see, the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn; two are the Moon's nodes, Rahu and Ketu, points where eclipses happen.

Moon
चन्द्र · ChandraThe mind and the mother: the planet that sets the feeling of every day.
Mars

Mercury

Vimshottari dasha
A 120-year cycle, in nine chapters.
Each graha rules a period of life in a fixed order. Where you begin depends on your Moon's nakshatra at birth; RitamSage shows your own timeline in Life periods.
