About Tula

Tula is an air sign ruled by Venus and a movable sign. Its symbol is a man holding a balance in the marketplace, weighing goods fairly. It is the sign of partnership, justice, trade and harmony. Saturn is exalted here, at 20°, because fairness and duty are at their best when balanced. The Sun is debilitated: the ego must yield to the other.

Libra holds the second half of Chitra, all of Swati and three padas of Vishakha. It is gracious, diplomatic and sociable, and it thinks in terms of relationship. Its gift is fairness; its test is decision.

Nakshatras in Libra

Two and a quarter lunar mansions fall in every sign. The filled circles mark the padas, quarters of 3°20′, that lie in Libra.
